Underground Groove are proud to announce that the world famous Lambrettas,will be headlining the third Clacton Weekender with support from The Francis Jetty (Northampton) and The RT's. Friday evenings bands are, Speakeasy, who will be launching their new album, with support from The E types(West Midlands) and Mr Bridger (Kent)
Essex based band, The Mannequins will be playing on the Sunday Evening for your entertainment! The sunday afternoon will be dedicated to Northern Soul, so come down and get your requests in to or Soul DJ's Ash Mappedout and Neil pounds.

One major improvement is a very simple fix and that will be the inclusion of a programme of events that will be available on your arrival, included in your welcome pack. This will mean you can avoid missing anything we have organised. In response to the suggestion about the music channel that played 'the wrong sort of R'n'B' during the day we're very pleased to say the management at martello have seen that as an easy fix and we will be showing music, interviews etc throughout the daytime. We're also looking into other ways of adding to the daytime entertainment, especially for Saturday.

Weekender entry passes have been kept at the same great price of £25 with children under 16 paying £12.50. Due to the virtual sellout onsite in 2011 we will only be selling Weekend Passes to ensure that everyone is able to attend as we have to abide by the strict regulations on capacity within the venue.If you don’t want to miss out on a great Weekender, best get your wristbands ordered now!
