The Mod Generation

The Society of Cool!

Double Breasted Modzine and Scottish Mod Scene are proud to announce A Little Mixed Up 2 on Saturday 27 November, ABC2, Glasgow with 7 great bands including DC Fontana and The Universal making their debut in Glasgow. Tickets are on sale now from the ABC Box Office.

We're also very excited to announce a reunion gig from The Shadowland at the A Little Mixed Up Late Show @ The Admiral.  This was one of Rod Spark's earlier bands and they released a number of records and had tv and radio appearances over the late 80s/early 90s.

I'll have to get your number too Bobby so that you can give us a bell when a decent band comes on. We'll be in the boozers down the street ha ha.
Well Guys What a night. Well Done Jenny that is what i look for as part of the mod generation.
I hear a lot about the London Scene - tonight can't have been too far from it! You can't beat really good, live bands. The music and the atmosphere was fantastic. Chris, you missed a really good night - can't praise the music enough. Good to see some of the regular faces there.
I was fully intending to come along around 8 o'clock Bobby, but something happened and it just was not possible for me to make it. Glad to hear that it went as well as I thought it would. I will just have to make up for it in a couple of weeks time at the FTJ gig. I bought my ticket for the Secret Affair gig yesterday so barring anything happening like last night that will be a night and a half.
Missed you Chris. Hope all is well. You really missed one good show. Would love to go down south to see more of these nights.
Cheers Bobby everything is okay. (now) I had earmarked this as something I was interested in going to ages ago too, but it was not to be. By the looks of it everyone had a great night.

Well done Colin and Jennie, s fantastic eclectic taste of bands on display yesterday, great energy and craftmanship, my memory card was goosed on my camera, hence the lack of photos, Shadowland were the biz, long may the scene continue to flourish and thrive.
