I think they have always been on when its the August bank holiday weekend. Although this year was my first year, on all of the posters from previous years it says "August bank holiday" so would imagine it will be on that weekend.

I´ve also decided to go first time next year but -wait for it, Chadders- WITHOUT the wife, hahaha!

Please let us know when you get the date confirmed Chadders. I'm going to book early as well. I'm going to stay Sunday night as well next year as I was gutted to drag myself away Sunday lunchtime this year. I was in tears and tantrums ;) Cheers, Chadders.
Mark I've just had it confirmed that it will indeed be august bank hol next year.
I've booked the grand, not a bad deal. Booked early out of pure excitement more than anything!!
Ha ha, good stuff Chris. Only just saw your reply mate when I was notified of Lindsey's below. I didn't receive a notification for some reason. No worries. I'll look into it and decide where to book next week. I was in The Kings on the prom this year which was friendly but a bit tatt. My mates booked early and got in the Hilton which is just along from the Grand and was proper lush with a great Bar! There will be lots of Moddies in the Grand though so I may also take that option. Thanks for the info pal. I'll check it out. Hoping to have a trailer sorted by then to take the scoot down too and The Hilton has a big underground car park which is an important consideration. :)

Me too! I've booked The Grand for the 3 nights. We went for the first time this year but unfortunately, I wasn't too well on the Sunday so missed the whole day and didn't stay out too late. I was gutted for weeks after as I felt I'd really missed out. We'd spent 2 days tripping round London before heading to Brighton on the Saturday and I'd tired myself out. Won't be doing that again! I loved the atmosphere at the times I was there and it was great to see everyone all dressed up and looking smart and seeing the scoots was really cool too. I'd definitely recommend it and I'm only going on the short time I experienced so I expect to be blown away next year! Roll on August 2013!! xx

We stayed in the Hotel Pelirocco this year. They have a room called the Modrophenia which was quite coo,l it didn't have air con and was a little bit tatty and was a bit out of the way. I'm glad I stayed in the room but I wouldn't stay there again x

How much did The Grand cost to book?

I am going for the first time this year with my wife cant wait

Also going with wife this year. 1st Brighton visit, should be great.

We stayed at the Premier Inn last year, cheap if booked months in advance and central location. Car parking in the town is an expence/problem.

Attachments:

The Grand £140.00 per night plus £30.00 parking.

Premier Inn brighton centre £80.00 per  night  plus parking

Not cheap.

Any advise on good quailty Central  Brighton  accommodation this years Weekender.
