Essex (mod) nightlife?

I live in Chelmsford and its safe to say theres NOWHERE to go out on a night out with any 'good' music

I need some help! Luckly for my birthday this year i was on holiday but next year i can NOT go through another painful nightout in chelmsford

Please local mods help me out!!

ps i know i live near london but costs alot to get there and i will more than likely have to work on the sunday so no getting the last train home jobies for me

Lewis blooze runs Dandy Bloom in Southend, I don't know when the next one is though. It's at the Railway hotel Clifftown road.

Brentwood Scooter Club (see Facebook) may not be purely mod but they are now organising quite of lot inc bands & club nights it seems

Hi , try the "whats going on in ESSEX...for mods,soulies skins and scooterists" page on Facebook..Also there are quite few bands around the area playing quite regularly (Shake 101 play Chelmsford fairly often)...keep an eye out for local scooter clubs as alot of them put on bands/dos all year ( although obviously not all of them are strictly Mod).. Also there is this on this Saturday night in Colchester - https://www.facebook.com/groups/193768867401673/#!/events/386015831... which will be pretty good i,d say....hope this helps , cheers richie....
