Female Mod Coats

Hey Everyone!

Im new to the site, looks amazing! Some awesome info!! I read the discussion on Female mod clothes and was wondering if any of you could suggest different styles of coats??

As its getting colder i need a GOOD coat, i currently have a (modern) parka and was looking for different styles of coats. Maybe something a bit smarter but still equally as warm ;)

Hi Jade-Liza - welcome to the madness and mayhem of the MG!

There is really no such thing as a FEMALE Mod coat (except for the buttoning the other way around!), as we pretty much copy the men in our style of dress - except for skirts and dresses - and the parka and Harrington are not really all that feminine either. However, trench coats, pea coats and mackintosh's are notable staples in ANY Mod's wardrobe, but capes and swing coats are also a plus! Vintage is preferable, but not essential. You can always can well known or less known modern brands in charity shops, on the High and Common Street that do thing in a Mod style.

I have been eyeing up a London Fog Trench coat just waiting to be paid lol i shall have a lil hunt on ebay of some coats too
