First Dance Wedding Records

Hi everyone,

me and the Missus are finally getting wed this year. It's only taken 19 years and 2 kids to get there! We've got some great plans for our day, not  a "traditional" wedding in the slightest, but some things you can't change or don't want to change. We've started thinking about the "First Dance" record - "At Last" by Etta James seems to hit the spot at the moment bearing in mind how long we've been a couple, but I just wondered what others on here chose as there "First Dance" on their wedding day.

Congratulations Andy,hope its a day to remember for you all.I only had a small do,but we had Ben.E.King-when a man loves a woman for our dance,25 years on still married and going strong,good luck mate.

Cheers Kai. It was at a Weller gig that me and the future Mrs Ingram got together. We'd like to get a Weller track in the ceremony somewhere, but maybe not that one!

Great news Andy.
You may want to save this number for later in the evening. As you have two children you've got to do some dad dancing. Just copy Tom Jones singing 'Treat her right'. If you dance like that everyone will think your super cool and your kids won't be embarrassed at all. If want some extra moves have a look at the Roy Head, great dancing and wearing a fantastic suit.

I'm not sure I could take on Tom's dancing Rob! Just out of interest, have you heard Tom's version of Venus. I loaded onto the video section. An absolute belter!
