The Movement UK...........Are what can only be described as a proper guitar driven Rhythm & Blues band.
They have a head strong attitude and a motivation built on delivering a new blend of power pop, indie, modrock, they are a band with direction and a focus which builds on the influences of many, many bands, ranging from the great London bands from the 60’s (the who, small faces, the kinks etc)
and infusing those influences with the greatest britpop and indie bands of the modern music era...
including the likes of the jam, roses, OCS, libertines, traffic and the faces, but this band stand head & shoulders above other bands for their blend is unique, they are a band sparked by melodies and lyrics each chord each word has a meaning....and a swagger..!

I don't think any of us are inclined to do sensible Jimbo. Maybe thats what makes it so much fun.

And it should be another great couple of days Stevie, here's hoping the weather is as good as last year.

Me and the missus will be there,so happy days.looking forward to catching up with everyone.

Yep, looking forward to this an'all...

Catch you around on Saturday Steve?

Hopefully we'll get the same weather as 2011, best two days weather wise for the whole year.

Have you decided on taking the scooter or not Graeme?

Decided against it Mikey, not enough room for the suits etc.

Although he doesn't know it yet - Craig's driving. :-)

PS: I might check out the Station hotel for a pint a week on Saturday as we're through on the train for the Hibs v Ayr UTD SC.

Now just over 6 weeks to go :)

Bring on the sunshine!!!!

... and counting. :-))

Ticket sales for Sat and Sun nights are way up on last year, looks like heading for a sell out.

Make sure you get them in advance folks if you plan on being there.

Graeme, did you pop into the hotel when you were down in Ayr mate?

Now just over 4 weeks away!!!!

Any forum regulars heading down on scooters??

That's me booked in to a b&b just round the corner from venue. No long now.

Nice one Jim, I remember you were gutted having to go up the road early last year mate.

Bring on the sunshine!!!!

Just another shout out for people heading down to Ayr and haven't got their tickets yet, get them sorted soon folks, loads sold already and advisable to get them in advance (especially Saturday).

Just over two weeks to go!!!!
