The Mod Generation

The Society of Cool!

Hi all,

Bought my first Harrington jacket two months ago. This is made of cotton and won't be warm enough for the cold days of winter. Just wondering if one can find thicker and warmer jackets ? Where ? Thanks for helping.

Thicker and warmer Harringtons or just warm jackets in general?

Well, both would be fine.

theres melton wool mix harringtons on ebay right now for £37.95

if money isnt an issue then baracuta do wool and padded versions of their g9

but they'll be well over £100

Very true can get warm harringtons, but why stick to the stereotyped mod uniform .

Maybe he likes them

Nice Peacoats on Modclothin.co (wool)

What size are you? I've literally just listed a few Brand New 100% Wool G9 Harringtons on ebay tonight.

A couple are quilted too.

Both Fred Perry and Bracuta do wax cotton waterproof Harringtons.

Clark's does a waterproof desert boot gord!

I already own a german navy peacoat I bought at Camden Town in 2010. I thought a warm Harrington would be fine. Unless you got another idea.

just chuck a parka over the top of Harrington :-)
