The Society of Cool!
I currently earn my weekly wage as a process worker for a meat process centre for a well known supermarket chain here in Australia. How do other Mod's earn a wage?

Permalink Reply by Kevin on August 28, 2012 at 12:59 Thanks Barry! It would be an even better job if the nurses weren't so extremely underpaid over here in Germany - most people don't want to see how hard this job actually is most of the time.
Permalink Reply by Kai Ahland on August 28, 2012 at 21:43 Hi Kevin! I´m a geriatric nurse, that´s what I´ve done for 18 years now (including 3 years training). It´s one of the hardest and most underpaid jobs ever, Several studies prooved that it´s harder than any job on a building site can ever be. I´ll gladly confirm. But at the end of the day I know what I´ve done for my (too little ) money and it´s something you have to be built for. I consider myself working class and am more than proud of it as I think the german mod scene is too overrun with academics who love to analyze it all to death. I take pride in never having entered a university, at least not sober. To quote Madness once more: F**k art, let´s DANCE!!!
