Just checked out this tune, then onto High...crackin. I personally have just got into Smoove and Turrell recently, Beggarman and Hard Work top tunes. Not new but new to me :D

Vintage Trouble are a new one on me and I bought their CD and it has some superb classic RnB, soul, funk type stuff on it. The singer is top class and wears some great gear too. Check them out.

He is a great singer too and I have his current CD. Raphael does a great version of Pride And Joy with Jools Holland too which is on YOU TUBE. His song RADIO is brilliant as well. Good choice Graeme.

Thanks for that Martin, love the energy and he can sing too. (Vintage trouble I mean.)

Missing Andy. Already liked one of their songs but after seeing them in this months Scootering thought I'd give them a better listen and they're pretty good.

Some great choose's there folks. Good to people are keeping an eye on new Soul/R'n'B/Funk artists. Don't get me wrong i love the revival influenced bands but there's more to Mod then trying to sound like The Jam, Oasis or O.C.S. [if you get my drift].

Got the Missing Andy album on order think its due release this week they sound very good

They do.

Just had a closer look at "Missing Andy" and to me they give the impression of dressing up a bit mod for commercial reasons. Which is absurd, isn´t it? The music reminds me of the Ordinary Boys, only they had a better singer in Preston. Well, I think I´ll get me a Missing Andy copy anyway!

The more I listen to the Missing Andy album the more I like it!

You'd be lucky if you found some of the [Australian] Flies (Ronnie burns' first group) material, Wigan Boy as it's really hard to locate anything, although you can find "Doing The Mod" on Youtube! It was their cover of Vandyke and the Bambis version. Ronnie Burns is also the father of Lauren Burns - Australia's gold medallist in taekwondo at the 2000 Olympic games.

I just heard this by The Dead 60s - a Scouse group. Sounds Ok, I guess. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iqcKZwoEQOA&feature=relmfu
