Not saying he's a mod but I'm just about to go out and buy this guys albums.  Heard him in an episode of a tv show called moonlight, long story.  I just loved this song when I heard it.  He has a few good tracks and is worth the listen if you like this kind of sound.  He has a bit of the Tom Waits sound about him.

Though sword fish trombone is cool too. Maybe I have a dark musical taste but I like to listen to this stuff

Remember buying sword fish trombone, about the same time as I was into Leonard Cohen lol. that was a dark period.

I like quite heavy blues. I don't think a lot of folks realise how many mods were into people like Tom Waits in the eighties, well and the sixties only Tom Waits wasn't around then. You must be an old 80's mod at least then?

Anyway, I like this new guy Jim Bianco. His music was also used in the film Ca$h, yes it is spelled like that, lol.
