Me and the Mrs are 'up north' for a cpl of days and nights, Manchester Sunday, Birmingham Monday. Anytips on shopping places for the daytimes and eating / drinking / dancing for the evenings? Cheers!

For Manchester defo go to Pop Boutique and Afflecks Palace. Then just wander round all of Northern Quarter for great vintage shops and what not.
