Permalink Reply by john buntain on January 10, 2012 at 13:37 Nice to see a celebrity dressing cool for a change instesd of all the grunge nonsense. had wondered about mr freeman , his hairstyle clothes ect. the bloke that plays jay in the inbetweeners is another. And not just in the show either. Saw him in an interview and was total mod.
Permalink Reply by hubert davenport on January 10, 2012 at 14:50 i thought it was a well known fact martin is a mod [ with a small m as he puts it ]
he was in a magazine article a few years ago declaring so .
i'll see if i can dig that article out
he has also done shows on the history of tamla motown and such like and played a bit northern and what have you on the radio .
i knew he was a bit mod what with his barnet when i first seen him in the office
here he is on the set of his up coming film the hobbit
look at that seersucker jacket !
Permalink Reply by hubert davenport on January 10, 2012 at 15:36 the above photo brings to life john buntains thread about modern day dress sense
look at the state of the people behind !
how difficult is it to put a polo shirt and casual jacket on and comb your hair like martin has ?
he almost looks like he's been photoshopped in so out of context he is with the scruffs behind .

Permalink Reply by mike anderson on January 10, 2012 at 16:53 I think Martin should have worn a tie on the GN show as I find the suit and open collared shirt look rather naff.Other than that I agree that he dresses well.
Another TV personality who I think has some dress sense is Frank Skinner. Frank usually wears a suit with narrow lapels and a slim tie. Certainly looks as if he's been touched by the hand of Mod.
