Got to be Clarks dessies.Ive got loads of other shoes but I end up wearing the dessies.

Yeah I like the Clarks desert, also like the Baracuta desert with the leather trim, a very nice boot indeed.

Yup! Mainly Clarks D boots for day to day wear and usually when I get the opportunity to dress up it's either penny loafers or longwing brogues.

Personally, I'm not into desert boots, but I understand their appeal. I am, however, into the chisel-toe leather style of shoes. I've been extremely lucky (especially considering I live on the U.S. West Coast) to have come across several vintage '60s shoes of this nature.

There have been new companies that have designed similar shoes, including Paolo Vandini. I also really like pointed-toe shoes, but don't wear them as often as I used to when I was younger.

Don't do bowling shoes anymore. However, I do have a pair of Cole Haan 'Flywire' sneakers that looked bowling-shoe-esque. I like the shape bowling shoes, just not the overall look or sole.

On a daily basis, though, for work I usually wear a pair of vintage, pointed shoes in black (pictured here) or a pair of new brown, chisel-toe D&G loafers my wife bought me a few years ago.

I'm really much more into dressier styles of shoes though. For long walks, I stick with the Cole Haans.

Oh, and basket weaves are great too!

Where can you still buy the basket weave shoes above i really want a pair, not seen for years

the basket weaves went on the www.modclothin.com site this morning, they are a limited edition so will have to be quick, very nice too!
