Mod Hair

Do you really need to have the Paul Weller/Steve Marriot haircut to be a proper mod? I have spiky hair myself and I think that the PW/SM haircut is ok on some people,but im not sure it would suit me.Are there any other decent Mod cuts or is spiky hair ok?

you have your hair the way you feel comfy with i had a number two cut not so long ago but i have since grown it in the wellerish style not as long it looks good for me and i feel Ok with it and thats what counts thats why we are mods

Thats how you know your a Mod, I used to take my Walker Brothers albums to my tailor and ask him to make me hipsters like Scott Walker, that's the beauty of being a Mod, that is committment to your ideas on not being like the guy next to you.

i like a french crew cut ,,like wellers hair in the solidbond video ,but once my hair grows it goes wavy and its getting greyer,if your hair tends to go spikey,you could end up like joe brown,half the guys in my club have the pink shiney look:) ,marty mac ,member of this site has a good haircut,if you look at photos of early mods ,bowie,bolan they have a very sharpe side shade ,so i say what ever your happy with

Haha , cheers for the compliment Gem , i try to keep it as short as possible now , too much Grey coming thru, but i agree , the Weller French Crew style is pretty neat !
