See profile photo: Hardly go outside without it anymore; got me another one in black corduroy and going to get a light linen one for summer.

That's exactly what I meant by 60's style military hat Kai, have one in the tan colour and one in Black. Love 'em and you look pretty good in them too if I may say so sir?

:)

Thanks a lot Mal; they come in handy as there´s not much hair left underneath :-( Sold by Earland Brothers on ebay in different colours, wool, corduroy and linen.

Hahahaha, Maybe that's why my collection of hats os growing ever larger. Unlike my barnet :)

I'd like to wear hats, but I usualy wear my hair quite long at the sides and a hat makes it all stick out, which is not a good look at all. I end up wearing beenie hats to keep the rain off but I am still on the look out for a nice stylish hat that I'll actually go out of the house in.

Just soooo many to choose from Graham, as have been mentioned Trilbys, Pork pies, Lennons, etc etc. maybe a flat cap in tweed? Give 'em all a go and see which one you like.

this might be the look i'm after

i like the packet of snouts in the breast pocket

its a nice touch

i think i'll wear a shirt under my blazer though

Yuk... make sure your breast´s shaved, Hubert, lol!

I have a trilby and another with a smaller rim in leather. also 2 flat caps, one plain black and one in browns and greens more country looking. But I have been thinking about getting a beret. I think some 60's mods wore berets with matelot shirts, and read somewhere that one mod would walk around London carrying a French stick loaf to really look the part. Berets are mainly connected with the military in the UK I suppose, but I'm stilconsidering one.

depending on how drunk i was i sometimes sported a pot or a collinder.

hats of any description are not cool>
