The Society of Cool!
Does everyone on here expect to be paying sky high prices for their dresses and scarves?
I know some of you's on here know who I am and what I do, but for those that don't....I run a hand made clothing company called Cálle Modista. I hand make and tailor everything (just as all true Mod's should have it), and also make one-off custom items - such as the scarf I made for Bradley Wiggins.
But you'll find that I am not one to be charging boutique prices for what I make, even though most are one-off's or limited editions. I simply want everyone to be able to look good and still have enough change in their pocket to buy a drink at the bar.
If anyone, who hasn't already, fancies checking out my range, then pop over to my Etsy store, where you'll find all my current dresses and scarves. As a bonus, I'm offering 10% off everything - but only until this coming Friday (12th Oct). The code you need at checkout is: modista10
http://www.etsy.com/shop/CalleModista?ref=search_shop_redirect
Let me know what you think of them, and if there are any special requests for certain designs, materials, length's, etc, then don't hesitate to get in touch.

Permalink Reply by Leontine Hawley on October 8, 2012 at 18:52 Thank you very much! I can always rely on you for a nice comment :) It's a genuine Burberry silk material and there's only one left now, after it was featured on a few other mod and retro sites, demand was huge. Probably the easiest of the materials I've worked with so far. L x

Permalink Reply by Bill V on October 24, 2012 at 22:11 This is impressive stuff. I checked out the link and the quality and style is amazing. I love the scarves, the red and black is similar to one I bought in Edinburgh recently at a classic clothing shop in the Grass Market. I bet your's doesn't smell of moth balls and old wardrobes though! LOL.
Permalink Reply by Leontine Hawley on October 24, 2012 at 22:41 Thanks Bill!! Your kind comments are very much appreciated. I try to make sure my scarves only smell as fresh as a daisy! ha.
There'll be more photo's very soon, of each individual scarf - I'm on with trying to get the Sheffield ACES Scooter Club involved. There'll also be some photo's of the Liberty material scarves and a few other ones I've got up my sleeve...Many thanks once again, and speak again soon. Leontine x
