Mods and Mod scooters in the Olympic closing ceremony.

It was great to see the Mods on their scooters at the Olympic closing ceremony.

But does the government with our tax payer's money that paid for the advent now see Mods and the scooters we ride as part of our English culture and heritage?

If they do then they can tell Brussels to leave us alone along with our good friends the motorcyclists when it comes to modifications to our machines, if Brussels get there way Mod scooters will become a thing of the past, we would have also seen in the closing ceremony a see of yellow ridding around the stadium as the Mods would have had to ware high vis vests. health and safety gone mad.

From what I have read so far on the subject, Brussels bureau cats want to take the fun out of ridding Scooters and motorcycles and stop us doing any modifications altogether to our scooters, something that we British have been doing since they were invented.

I just hope that our Government will see and let Brussels know that Mod scooters are part of our culture and heritage and should be left well alone.

I doubt I have enough knowledge of eu politics to give a thought out opinion here but I'd imagine that there'd be a few Italians that'd have the same concern as you. Where I live (California,) you can't sell or buy brand new two-stoke at all. Modifying vintage scooters is another thing altogether.
I bet the uk could get a Danish sausage clause in the writing if there was an uproar.

if they try we should ALL just take to the roads and wear what we want and adorn our scooters to the maximum and fly big ''F** THE EU'' signs...

we need make astand as a nation as once they get away with one thing, they will keep going untill they controll EVERYTHING about us and the UK.

mods/scooterists unite with the bikers and show the gov and the meddling EU we WONT be dictated to by them or anyone eles.
