Permalink Reply by Phil Thomsen on September 12, 2012 at 11:35 You forgot to include this one Kai... Clichés on stage! And what? I read that this is a free adaption of Cyrano de Bergerac? Is this a joke?! If Edmond Rostand would have known some idiots did this, i think he would have become a fish seller...

Permalink Reply by Andrew Harris on September 12, 2012 at 12:35 I cringed at mod crop , avoided Quad and now we got this embarrassment to mod culture...... glad I'm a punk ! not sure how the mod scene can get past this one with an ounce of cool left in it. hahaha
Permalink Reply by Kai Ahland on September 12, 2012 at 13:10 Uhh, this is what true teddy boys must have felt when "Grease" and Shakin´ Stevens arrived on the scene! Musicals are pure s*** and worth avoiding, but musicals with mods in them are plain disgusting! I´m afraid that´s even the new Gabbicci boating blazer this clown is wearing!? I liked it when Andrew posted it but thanks to this it´s out of the question now!
Can you imagine sitting through this on 3 tabs of acid?
Permalink Reply by New Wolsey Theatre on September 12, 2012 at 15:41 Wow, we'd love to invite some of you to see the show before you make judgements on something just from a photo?
Permalink Reply by Kai Ahland on September 12, 2012 at 16:01 Yes, just from a handful of photos. I don´t know what audience you´re aiming at, but you surely won´t pull any truely devoted mods. By the look and hair-do´s of these participants they´re clearly modelled after some non- mod´s idea of mod. The whole concept of musicals is totally at odds with true mod aesthetics, imo.
