Parka
HI
Apart from ebay is there a site that you could recommend where I could purchase a good mod parka at a reasonable price second hand or new is ok Thanks

What price you looking at spending? To be honest a parka is just a parka. Suppose to make it a mod parka woud be, in my opinion, a fish tail one and a non to fashionable one. I'd recommend these two:

Ebay is the best if you shop around. After two weeks of looking I ended up with an xs m65 without a hood for 40 quid

I find myself in the position of having two parkas, the wife bought me on, I have a size Large fishtail complete with hood and liner if you're interested just drop me a line.

hi garry, i would spend some time scouring ebay and dont rush into buying the first one you see, i spent months looking and finally got a bargain, imaculate m65 fishtail with m51 alpacca liner and real(not fake) wolf fur hood. spent under a hundred pound. couldnt find one better or less than £250 anywhere else, also the jump the gun m51 replicas aint all that great from what ive seen. good luck

the repro m51 from them is excellent
not excactly cheap at £185 but better than having the possibility of being ripped off on ebay and all sizes are available inc xs as well
i'm an xl in everything else but yet just medium in these military parkas so you do need to factor that in

Hi Garry
It,s an M65, as I said it comes with a liner and a synthetic hood. As I never wear it you can have it for the price of the postage. It's a large size, and they do tend to be on the big side. I am in Farnborough Hampshire, so if you're nearby you can come and collect it.
