hi alan havent seen the prety green ones but they seem a bit dear stuars of london do stunning boating blazers for about 170 modclothing do them for about the same price hope this helps

Atom Retro have some good 1s in here n their! Too be honest mate i wouldnt give PG the dosh for it, also wont be as good a cut!!

hi alan sounds pretty dear if you ask me but if its the one you want and your happy with the price then go for it, have a look at adam of london some lovely gear on there mate.

I own two boating blazers, my favourite´s from Gibson Of London. Saves you 100 GBP and also looks much better imo:

recognise the liberty print of the shirt underneath the blazer, it was printed in the factory where I work

Yeah, it´s from the modclothin´website.

Hi Alan,

Welcome to this here fantastic forum and the Mod scene in general. Honestly, if I had that money, I'd add the £25 pounds extra to your £275 sum and I'd get a really nice, off the peg slim fitted Tonik or Check suit from Adam of London. Or, if they didn't float your boat then check out claudio at DNA Groove.

I happened to be in Pretty Green store in Carnaby St last week (Let me stress that Newburgh St off Carnaby st has far superior quality in shops such as Peckam Rye and Blaqua) and I saw their clobber and some of it is ok but honestly, steer clear of anything that veers towards mainstream. Not wishing to pee in anyone elses pool but for years I shopped in all the usual, cliche places around Carnaby st and that, etc; it was only after finding Adam, DNA, Mendoza, etc that I realiseded that I'd squandered so much money buying below par gear.

And for Boating Blazers, I saw two crackers in Paul Smiths Covent Garden store also. £275 is a lot of money to spend on an off the peg blazer bought over the internet. You could get a really decent off the peg, quality suit for near the same money if you do a bit of shopping around such as Adam and Claudio. Just my humble opinion sir.

Have a butchers mate; http://adamoflondon.com/home/ and Happy Birthday or http://www.dnagroove.it/

Adam of London all day long, i to own the Gibson one and it's a great fit but looks no where near as good as the Adam ones imo.

Yes, I love the look of the AoL one, especially the purple one. It looks like I need my lower ribs removed to wear it though, hahaha!

As for the Gibson, I´m mad for covered buttons!

havent seen the pretty green ones, and to be honest ive no interest, its all a cash in imo, but if you like em, go for it ! adams of london isd the place to look, they have some great gear, and for less money, youle get a decent bit of genuine mod clobber, also try dna groove, worth every penny.
modclothin is ok, some like it, some dont, but if you got hold of some material, and took it to atailors you will get a bespoke one off, perfect fitting mod bating blazer for half what youde pay at PG...(i imagine)...
good luck tho, and welcome to the 24 hr lifestyle.
i may be well out on my estimation of cost at pretty green, but i dont have any interest in it, or in the guy who owns it, pop star or not.(wanna be mod) just my two pennys worth :-)(and not meant to upset his fans)
if you like it tho, its what floats your boat. ask away on here, (modgen)as youle get good sound advice.
The pretty green blazer is quite nice but I'd rather get one made than spending that amount to see someone else turn up in it, there's good tailors who would make one for the same money.
