PX Gears/clutch

HI everyone

The Mirrors on my 03 PX were knackered so I went about removing them. Following taking of the mirrors and then the headset, I eventually undid the mirror shafts (Complete B*****d). Anyway, once I put the headset back on, I find that I now only have first gear and neutral!!! Anyone any idea what this numb nuts has done, 'cos I didn't touch anything else???

Dislodged or broken the second gear cable? Check the upper cable in the headset, it's probably pooped out of the pulley, loose at the engine end or snapped somewhere between. I believe it's the outer cable at the engine.

Cheers Graeme. It now seems that there may be a fault underneath the headset, possibly the mirror shaft damaged the handlebar gear rod when put in?? keep u posted.
