Permalink Reply by Andrew Harris on January 30, 2012 at 19:16 I have to agree, love scarves and winter coats etc... mind you some unusual polos and cool shades are good fun too! :)
Permalink Reply by Kai Ahland on January 30, 2012 at 19:23 Yes, have a nice collection of Gabiccis and Earl Penguin polos waiting for the summer, but that´ll be soon enough! Pity there´s no more in- between these days. It´s either freezing or boilin´hot; at least that´s what it´s come to here on the continent. No real spring anymore!
Permalink Reply by Karl Sheldon on January 30, 2012 at 19:36 No! Want a scooter in time for summer and more clothes seeing wont be wearing jackets and jumpers as much!.. Apart from that, can't wait! hate winter at the moment.
Permalink Reply by michael james sturge on February 2, 2012 at 11:23 bought 3 pairs of lightweight trousers on sale at ben sherman outlet and its been too cold to wear them since so looking forward to getting some use out of them
Permalink Reply by Chris Cameron on February 2, 2012 at 12:41 I have a feeling there is a fair bit of Winter still to come up here in Scotland before we can even think about Spring.
Permalink Reply by Kai Ahland on February 2, 2012 at 18:09 Well winter´s only just started over here. I dot mind...
Permalink Reply by Chris Cameron on February 2, 2012 at 18:35 Same here, unless I am driving in snow, which does my brain in. We should maybe think about the system you have in Germany regarding using Winter tyres.
Permalink Reply by Kai Ahland on February 2, 2012 at 19:25 Yes, it´s compulsory and actually has lowered the accident rate.
Permalink Reply by Chris Cameron on February 2, 2012 at 20:25 Yeah, my good friends from Kaiserslautern were telling me about it and it seems like a fine idea Kai. Maybe expensive at first to buy the extra tyres to put on for the Winter time, but the amount of accidents caused by cars slipping in the snow and ice is considerable so it sounds less expensive overall to buy Winter tyres.
Permalink Reply by michael james sturge on February 3, 2012 at 14:27 yes but didnt the accident rate only go up when the salting of roads was replaced by volcanic ash in the early 80s
Permalink Reply by Bettina Krause on February 2, 2012 at 13:09 Autumn is my favourite time - sunny days and it's getting colder (in general). So I can wear costumes with tights and most of my coats are for autumn / winter. Bt of course when it's raining or freezing it is a abd time to out in a nice dress....
