The Society of Cool!
A group of mods in the photo sporting sleeveless V necked jumpers! Iv'e had a few of these over the years and seeing this photo again the other day reminded me of that look! Ben Sherman do a rather nice looking one in a fine gauge pure cotton knit with contrast tipping which can be purchased at www.modclothin.com and other places.
What do you think of them? do you have one? would you consider wearing a tank top or not :)

Permalink Reply by Kai Ahland on August 12, 2012 at 9:57 To answer the initial question- no, I have and would never wear anything sleeveless. These things look a bit nerd/mummy´s boy to me. Just my personal taste though, each to their own!

Permalink Reply by Andrew Harris on August 12, 2012 at 10:50 yes on some folks Kai I agree, but I used to wear em as cud show my muscular arms off whilst still looking sharp at the same time, look ace with a Fred or a short sleeved check shirt! The Skins wore em as well and so did I when I went in that direction for a short while! Mind you I do love my mummy lol
Permalink Reply by Kai Ahland on August 12, 2012 at 18:30 I love my mom, too, albeit with sleeves, haha!
Permalink Reply by Mod Goddess on August 13, 2012 at 7:29 Totally agree about them being a skinhead thing. A skinhead mate of mine - Rick - wears his nearly all the time! ;-)
I have a few Revival brand ones (Revial being a Melbourne based label) that I bought about 5 or so years ago, to match their long-sleeved counterparts when they were all below sale price. One in red, another in navy and another in cream. I have worn each and every of them and think they look OK.
Oh, and "I always love my momma... she's my favourite girl!"
