The Mod Generation

The Society of Cool!

What brands do you fellow mods wear, i know the obvious fred perry lambretta levi etc etc but what else? i quite like the lacoste polo shirts but ive never seen a mod in one or anyone mention lacoste on here, am i right in thinking pierre cardin and penguin are brands mods like to be seen in.

Main reason i ask is i really like these plain lacoste polo shirts but whats your opinions on lacoste yay or nay?

Gabicci & Baracuta. Personally I don't dig Lacoste. seen Paul Weller wearing Lacoste though so it must be a Yay ?
Nah im not a fan of lacoste either but the plain green, red, blue etc etc polo's are pretty smart if weller wore it i'll go with yay :)

Gabicci & Baracuta online buys only or do shops stock those brands?
Modclothin.com stock Gabicci. I've seen Baracuta in TK max and Sa-kiss !
I spend august in spain and struggle with the mod look.  Just bought some Fred perry pumps and a couple of pretty green t-shirts(in the sale!). I also love Paul smith, the outlet in york makes this label more affordable.
Baracuta is fairly widely stocked, but the best prices are online.

Unless you check the classifieds on here of course!!

Yeah your right paul we used to call them geezers "Shades"
Football casuals on second thoughts i'll pass.

wrangler
tommy hilfiger
brooker
french connection
???

by the way what adidas trainer is preferred is it romms or something? samba's ok?
I wear samba for the sport I'm involved in, great practical retro trainer. For the pub I'm wearing Dunlop 1972's at the moment. They do a 1969 also at the mo which is nice. The 72 is red white and blue lol. I like retro Gola too :)
Wranglers fine!
Cheers for the info on the trainers, my trainers have been pretty limited. Glad to hear wranglers are ok, brooker do retro looking leather jackets quite similar to the photo i seen of brian jones wearing his leather jacket.
Im not gonna make the weekender i'd be going myself if i went seeing as my mates are punks, glam rockers and the rest are the casual dressing or indeh type who reckon mod is for old foggies.
