What would be a good 'starter' scooter for a tall lady like me?

I'm also very tall and was recommended a PX. They apparentley have wuite a high front.

cheers

Don't mention it =)

i would recommend the PX have a few mates 6"2 and over and thats what they drive

fair question, but how tall is tall?

5ft 11

you'll be fine.  " Gem " above said a few lads a 6'2 so you'll have plenty of choice of scoots

Thanks, but what would be a good scooter to start with? i.e. easy to ride..................... for a newbie.....

The scooters listed so far are all fine. I bought my lambretta li125 in ignorance when I got back into them last year, especially  as I prefer gears.

However I later discovered that unless I took my test on a motorbike (which I didn't want to do), there are only two 125cc scooters fast enough and hence DVLA approved that you can take your test on.

Those are the Vespa T5, & LML Star Deluxe 2T. I bought the LML, purely because a new one is roughly the same price as an 80/90's T5 these days. Flew through the test on it too, its a basically an upgraded PX. Taking your test on a geared scoot means you can ride Auto's too, but not the other way, So if that's your aim you need one of these two scooters.

I would recommend a Vespa auto.  Not quite the street cred of a geared scooter but easier to ride.  If you then think its your thing you can move into geared scoots later.  Can't go to far wrong with a PX.

Thanks all :)
You made some sort of decision? Btw, deffo test ride and see what feels good.
