Biased obviously but havin been about the uk i think Glasgow takes some beating for the way it is at the moment

Best place is here, Russia, Udmurtia. Here is no one mod. "Empty field"))) But a lot of peasants ride on Chinese copy of Vespa and wear Chinese copy of Fred Perry's polo with acid colors. So...

Actually I think Best place is somethere in Scotland. I dont know why, just think so)

Now I live in Lincolnshire,I would say the best Place(if you are a younger Mod),is definitely the Midlands. You can Travel To London or places like Manchester or Liverpool. When I lived in London it would take bloody hours driving to the Northern Cities-and yet at the time that was where the Music(I was listening to) was. There are good Clothes Shops dotted about that are not too pretentious.

You know it might be a bit subtle, but there is a difference between where is the best mod scene and where is the best place to be a mod.
Certainly, it depends on what dazzles your desert boots.
I mean, if scooters are your major passion, good rides will glide you to a place you love to ride.
If music is your life, you may dance your way somewhere else.
You get my point.

But if just being a mod is your thing, obviously, London is where you want to rest your head.
Sheeit, really, what's better than being a mod in London?
Nada.

And I don't feel I'm particularly bias here... I live in the bay area of California.

Good said Clem. It depends on your most favourite interest. If I get a job in England I would change immediately. But regarding the German scene you are more special because you are "alone"...... That's nice.

... as I said before, as individual as you can get...

Australia is pretty much a mod wasteland,im biased being from London...and.the south coast of England seems to be a very active area in the last 5 years or so.

not much mod here now, well,  there is, but no Parka & scoots to a real degree

Hyannis, Massachusetts. Cute little Cape Cod town with a highly British atmosphere!

got to be glasgow there seems to be something happening most weeks, the lads from friday street are right on the ball when it comes to organising events. i may be biased but i love my home town its as cool as f*ck. great bands great people great mod do s, what more do you need.

London for the size followed by Brighton

LONDON BABY!
