The Mod Generation is not free for me to maintain but, fortunately, it is currently being sponsored by the cool guys at Mod Guitars.com. However, the network costs have now been raised and, with the ever increasing membership and amount of bandwidth being used, I have taken the decision to upgrade to a larger database and am therefore offering the opportunity for other interested parties to place a banner ad on the site in order to cover this expense and keep the site going indefinitely into the future.

The site has been doing very well lately and more and more people are joining (well over 2,000 members, in fact), so the placement of an ad is a superb way of bringing attention to your band, label, store, business, or project - providing as it does the perfect niche audience if you have something of interest to the mod crowd. The charge would be $30 per month for a banner ad on the themodgeneration.com and themodgeneration.co.uk.

TRAFFIC: Right now (May 2011) the site is averaging about 8,000 pageviews per day, or up 240,000 per month (and this number is steadily increasing). So, if you place the banner ad for $30, that would buy you up to 240,000 pageviews per month (at a cost of $1 per 8ix thousand pageviews).
