Comment by Walter Ressmeyer on October 30, 2012 at 6:28 Clem, saw your scoote r& it looks great. Plus nice paint too! I saw an advert for a '63, but from the sound of it.. it needs alot of work. Still, if I had the time and $ it would be nice to restore (but I don't)

Comment by Clem Eakle on October 22, 2012 at 7:14 I thought i'd seen Vespa Allstate use by the US DP.
Not GS as i had thought though.
Hey Walter great news on your new Vespa, put some pictures up. I'd love to see it :-)
Comment by Walter Ressmeyer on October 15, 2012 at 23:42 Harry, I bet some police stations might have done that ...they tend to ride Harley's now. However, back in the day Sears sold Vespa scooters under the Allstate name. But not as many people are aware that Montgomery Ward also sold scooters. called "Riverside". The Montgomery Ward's are Italian Lambretta Li125 Series III models. I just got me that 1979 P200e (aka last of the real Vespa's) it's super clean w/ only 1049 miles on it, plus I got it for 748 GBP It will need a few MODifications !?!
