Went up to Liverpool this week ,Feb 11 ,with my wife. We stayed up there for the night ,great place! Took the opportunity to visit Penny Lane and Strawberry Field whilst we were there..

Armed with just a yellow post it note with a few directions on we found Strawberry Field first..driving past "the gates" was just surreal.Naturally we stopped and took a few photos too.I know people are going to cover the place with graffitti,like Abbey Road ,but no need to dis colour the sign or write…

Saw the band last Friday night which provided some great memories and a chance to sing/shout to some old tunes we all know and love!

Bruce Foxton,in particular,in fine form and he looked liked he was enjoying every minute,after all these years still playing Jam numbers.

They absolutely smashed "Eton Rifles" and "Tube Station.." which were awesome versions..

Was in London for a meeting last week,was one tube stop away from St Johns Wood where the famous Abbey Road studios are..so I could not go down to London without visiting the famous crossing and studios.

Got there at 9-30am which was relatively quiet so had no problem taking a few snaps,just grabbed a random passer by to take it who willingly obliged!

Was a real buzz being there and seein the crossing and studios.

A must for any Beatles nut..

Oh wow,a couple of gigs I'd love to be at..Paul McCartney playing London and Liverpool later this month,December 2010,small venues too,which instantly sold out..These gigs will be special,so much more than his recent arena tour..Got a ticket?..you lucky people!…
