About Me:
Mod for 33 years. Love every aspect of the scene. Run a small Modernist promotions company called HEAVY EARS PROMOTIONS and also run a regular monthly Mod club called HIPSTERS, which has resident dj's playing the finest in 60's Rhythm & Soul, R&B, Jazz, Ska etc and puts on at least one live act each month. My fave group is the Small Faces and I once interviewed the great Steve Marriott who subsequently became a friend. I love R&B, 60's & Northern Soul, Jazz, Boogaloo, Psych and Freakbeat, Ska n Reggae, Britpop, Acid Jazz, some Revival and much more. I am a great believer in dressing smart preferring a suit, shirt and tie to jeans and Fred Perries but I do wear those too. In fact my wardrobe/clothes collection is bigger than my girlfriends much to her annoyance ha ha. My fave word is NICE!! which I use frequently ha ha. Well thats about all I can think of to write at the mo but I am sure I will think of more as time passes. Cheers
