Natlaie? Could you help me? In your 4th of March show, what is the song at 46min37 PLEASE?! It's a pity you don't have a tracklisting somewhere. I like your accent but sometimes hard for me to understand as i'm french! Thanks for paying attention to my request!
The term 'Indie' go's back to the 70's. It is short for 'Independent' meaning bands who are signed to an Independent and not Major record label. Nothing much to do with the type of music they was playing. Smash Hits and N.M.E. where the first music mags to print an 'Indie top 30 Chart'. Most of the stuff was played by John Peel. Crass, The Fall, Punk, The Smiths, Reggae, Dance Music, Acid House etc'...
Another great show. Oh by the way, The House of Love are not from Liverpool but London. Anyway hope you had a great Christmas and have a great New Year and i'll defo' tune in to your next show. Bye for now and all the best.
Well that was a good listen. Here's some suggestions/requests for your next and future shows all on Creation Records. "You Cut Me Deep" by The Jasmine Minks, "Imperial" by Primal Scream, "Sunshine Smile" by Adorable, "Dreams Burn Down" by Ride, "Feed Me With Your Kiss" and "Soon [Andrew Weatherall Mix]" by My Bloody Valentine.
And here's two not on Creation. "Blue Jeans" and "Ghosts" by Ladytron. Ladytron are mainly Synth' Pop but i think them two tracks fit in with the Shoegaze thing just fine. Anyway let me know what you think.
