"I would go for a PX, its the ideal first geared scooter. Thats what I did, I got plenty of miles under my belt on a PX and then when I felt comfortable and experienced enough on that I did my full test......... and then got a Lammy !  (200cc…"

"If it's your first scooter get a P.X. Vespa  125. Lammy 125's are dead slow. If you want to get you bike test over and done with get a Vespa T5. "

"If the Lammie had a full resto, an electronic ignition and a warranty i'd go for it, there's nothing wrong with Lambrettas (i've owned a few) Vespas are a lot easier to work on if you need to fix them yourself."

"Thanks paddy. would you still go for the px even if the lammie had a full rennovation. Are the px's alot more reliable ??? My heart says lambretta my head says vespa. I really dont know what to do?. thanks again for your help mate."

"Hi Jim, if it's your first ever scoot then i'd go with the PX. Pouring Oil in your tank when you fill up is no great hardship but for reliability in my opinion the PX would be better (i'm gonna regret saying that, lol). There's…"
