About Me:
DJ Dr Robert!

Born 1970 in old blighty.
I just missed out on the swinging 60’s and been making up for lost time ever since.
Passionate of all things Mod and the wider 60’s culture but fanatical about the music.
Started out with Mum and Dads old Motown and British Beat/Pop group’s records along with the Jam and local heroes the Prisoners, Milkshakes and James Taylor Quartet.
Not long after purchased the first half dozen Kent albums and from there developed a passion for original vinyl.
Started DJ career at 15 years old with our local scooter club events on two old hi-fis and got the bug at an early age. Within a couple of years was working with leading 80’s Mod promoter Tony Class at his CCI events.
In 1990 the Untouchables were formed. In 1991 the Mousetrap allnighter opened its doors for the first time. We just celebrated our 18th anniversary back in March at the same venue with a free 45 on the door.
I started www. newuntouchables.com back in 1997 with Jason Ringgold and Paul Owers.
London based NUTS organize a whole host of clubs and weekenders in the UK and Europe including internationally renowned events like Modstock, Euro Ye Ye with Trouble & Tea and Le Beat Bespoke.
New Untouchables and Horst R Friedrichs recently presented I’M ONE (21st CENTURY MODS). The book documents New Untouchables events over the last decade with stunning pictures and text from Pete Townshend, Paulo Hewitt and Rob Bailey.

I run an online mail order record business called RNB Records www.newuntouchables.com/rnbrecords selling rare vintage vinyl from that magical period of music. Compiler of the acclaimed compilation series also entitled Le Beat Bespoke (volume 4 on the way soon).
