British Pathe archive

I have just come across this great British Pathe site. There are loads of period clips including the audience at Ready Steady Go, scooter rallies and fashion. Here are some I like.

This is a very weird silent clip of Mayfair in 1957 but it does show some early modernists on scooters. Not sure what Nell Gwyn and the flamenco dancers are about.

Karla Milton and Steve Trigg leave DC Fontana

Karla Milton and Steve Trigg from internationally renowned band DC Fontana have individually announced that from 31^st December 2011 they will be leaving the group.

They have decided to follow on from their success with DC Fontana by collaborating to form an exciting new group The Karla Milton Collective.
