Ray Chew Remembers Motown in the '60s

"American Idol" Music Director Ray Chew brings "A Tribute to the Music of Motown" to Carnegie Hall on February 9, 2012.

Here, Chew reminisces about working at his grandfather's record store in the 1960s, with Motown stars appearing a couple of blocks away at The Apollo Theater in Harlem—all happening against the backdrop of the Civil Rights Movement of the day.
