Harry Palmers R&B & Blues Night Nottingham 7th May 2011. It was a cracking night and the music was spot on for an authentic Mod night.

Hi Julian, they have Paul Davis from Ireland for the next one who I believe will be spinning the vinyl, and Ian Grinham for the following one- and I know for sure he doesn't own a cd. Here's a link so if you want to attend you can check who's DJing first. :)

This looked like a great night, I would however be pretty pissed off if I had paid £4 - £5 to listen to some geezer playing a few CD's , anybody can do that, it takes dedication and years of hard saving to buy the originals and have the knowledge to track them down in the first place.

Having said that though I am glad the night went well but it would be good to see some turntables

Loved the Reservoir dogs video. There was even a Mr Green at the end of the night. Harry Palmer's played excellent rnb music in true mod style! Great night out !

@gem, It's a Ben Sherman....funny that Gem as a few asked me about that shirt on the night. Britac have one on their site very similar at the moment. Now they do very nice shirts and even send you a matching pocket hanky.
