Slapping the bass like that in the mid sixties?

Ian Mc Lagan? Voted best organ player in the UK for years ... No s***.

Making your Marshall amps screening like that with a Gretsch?
.. Maybe the Birds and the Creation were there musically at this level and make you feel high on stage... huh?

Great band! My first Mod LP 1978, The Small Faces. My dream gig The Small Faces V The Action 1965, The100 Club. Good vintage clip, highly recommend Small Faces, All Or Nothing 1965-68 complete performances.

This is the essence on stage of the SF, as a mod, this is to my opinion how a mod band should sounds: heavy bass line, creative, nervous and with the arrogance of playing rough with the mod elegance. Few bands where able to give such feeling to an audience of mods.
